EIRIS Foundation appoints 3 new Trustees

The EIRIS Foundation, a research, advice and advocacy charity working to pioneer the next steps for sustainable finance, is delighted to formally announce the appointment of 3 new Trustees to its Board.

The EIRIS Foundation continues to be a leading proponent of sustainable and responsible investment and business practices with a focus on the following four areas:

· The ‘S’ in ESG: Raising the profile of social issues within ESG/responsible investment including business and human rights, conflict risk and impact, and corporate lobbying on social issues; Eg: EIRIS Conflict Risk Network and co-ordinating the research for the Corporate Human Rights Benchmark

· Helping charities adopt and shape Responsible Investment: Helping charities and other civil society organisations align their investments with their missions and also work with other responsible investors to advance those missions

· The Sustainable Finance Landscape: Tackling the challenges of scale and impact created by the rapid growth of responsible investment: building on past successes, avoiding greenwashing and other hazards and focussing on real world outcomes

· Addressing the big challenges: Finding effective means for responsible and sustainable investment to play their role in responding to the multiple emergencies we face on climate, biodiversity, sustainable development & inequality

At this crucial time, we welcome the depth and breadth of experience and expertise that our new Board members; Áine Clarke, Ivana Gazibara and Vaidehee Sachdev will bring to the organisation.
